Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation – Alberta
Through our partnership with The Canadian Brewhouse, we have been working toward purchasing specialized equipment for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation in Calgary, Alberta. A project inspired by a young warrior, little Madden Garraway. In Spring 2018, we donated 4 PICU Joey Baby Warmers at a cost of $56K. The Joey Baby Warmer is natural supportive solution to infant warming simulating skin to skin contact meant for preterm and full-term babies. Since then we have been fundraising to purchase canopy bed and ENT scopes.
Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation – Saskatchewan
Opening in 2019, the new Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital will offer state-of-the-art equipment and facilities for children, mothers, and families from across our province. Centrally located on the University of Saskatchewan campus in Saskatoon, our new children’s hospital will offer neonatal intensive care, pediatric intensive care, general pediatrics, pediatric emergency, and ambulatory services. Maternal services will include labour and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care.
In 2017, with the help of the volunteers at The Canadian Brewhouse in Saskatchewan, our Foundation donated 50K to purchase a NICU incubator for the new hospital. Since then we have committed to a 100K goal for the construction of a Outpatient Exam Room.
Pediatric Outpatients will provide comprehensive care to children from birth to 18 years of age through a full array of clinics. Here, families will visit their specialist or other healthcare provider for appointments relating to general pediatrics, heart, cancer, speech and language, hearing, and psychiatry.
Variety, the Children’s Charity – Manitoba
Over the past couple years we have been raising money to replace an aging play structure with an impressive replacement at Variety’s Camp Brereton.
BC Children’s Hospital Foundation – British Columbia
Initial contact has been made with the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation and they are compiling a list of equipment that is required over the next few years. A firm plan and commitment from us will be in place for fall 2018.
